Get outraged! Think of your LGBT friends, family, and classmates and get the word out. The campus officials waited two days to alert the community, this kind of violence can’t be swept under the rug.

Sometimes it can be kind of lonely being Straight Edge in a world that convinces everyone that they need drugs and alcohol. I always know that I can find a quote or listen to a song by Davey and not feel quite as alone. I am Straight Edge because it is smart, and I am Straight Edge because I have a hero like Davey.
